WHAT ARE WEAVES?
Weave applications are wefts of hair sown onto a beaded base foundation on your natural hair that spread out the weight of the extensions evenly over a larger surface area, so they are amazing when wanting to add length. They give incredible fullness straight away and can be absolutely undetectable if you wear your hair up.
HOW DO THEY DIFFER FROM NORMAL EXTENSIONS?
They are a beaded method with the weave sown onto the beads so there are no tape tabs or Keratin Bonds in the application, which work’s great for people with a really active lifestyle who wash their hair a lot.
WHAT TYPE OF HAIR IS SUITABLE FOR WEAVE?
Weave is suitable for all hair types, but as with all other methods it depends on hair health and the outcome you are trying to achieve.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO HAVE PARTIAL WEAVES?
This method is very versatile. Whether you are wanting just a row for weight or more for length, it can be adapted and personalised to your desired look. You can even hybrid with other techniques or use as an alternative/boost to your colour if your hair is on the weaker side for chemical lightening.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO APPLY A FULL HEAD OF WEAVES?
Depending on the desired look, it can be from one hour or with styling, up to two and a half hours.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY WEAVES AT HOME?
Sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner, plus a heat-protector when styling, will keep your hair extensions in the best health and long-lasting. Ensuring the attachment points are fully dry will help to maintain your extensions, as well as the health of your natural hair.
ARE WEAVES CRAFTED FROM REAL HAIR?
Yes, we only work with reputable brands that use 100% high quality, ethically sourced, human hair.
HOW LONG WILL MY WEAVES LAST?
The hair itself should last at least a year if maintained properly. Most brands guarantee the hair for at least 6 months.
Application will last 12 weeks, with a maintenance appointment at 6 weeks.
ARE WEAVES ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY?
Absolutely! As you can reuse the hair time and time again, it means the carbon footprint from manufacturing and shipping is really low.
